Introduction & Guide Scope
In the most recent update of ROGGH, enhancements were made to the Transcendent Class skills, particularly highlighting the remarkable abilities of Focus Arrow Strike (FAS) or Sharpshooting (SS). While Arrow Storm remains effective for leveling, FAS has emerged as the preferred DPS skill for advanced content. This guide will delve into the essential statistics, skills, equipment, and strategies required to effectively utilize FAS.
Stats:
STR:
Rangers typically do not allocate points into STR unless necessary for carrying additional weight or meeting equipment requirements (as discussed further in the gear section).
AGI:
Investing points into AGI is crucial for a FAS Build as it enhances your Attack Speed (ASPD), facilitating rapid skill spamming, which is essential for optimal performance.
VIT:
Allocating points into VIT is beneficial for solo play as it enhances your ability to withstand damage, thereby improving your survivability and effectiveness as a tank.
INT:
In a FAS Build, prioritizing points in INT is advantageous as it reduces Variable Cast Time (VCT), aiding in the rapid execution of skills. Additionally, it boosts your SP pool, ensuring sustained skill usage during prolonged battles.
DEX:
Focusing on DEX is crucial as it reduces Variable Cast Time (VCT) better than INT, facilitating the rapid execution of skills. Moreover, DEX serves as the primary damage attribute for ranged classes, enhancing overall damage output.
LUK:
The LUK stat is essential in a FAS build as it contributes to both critical rate and a bit of ATK. Crit rate is particularly important due to the presence of Crit Shield on mobs, where the required amount of crit rate to overcome it is calculated as monster’s LUK divided by 5(monsterLUK/5). Therefore, investing in LUK is crucial to achieve the necessary crit rate for effective damage output in this build.

Other Tips
The Focused Arrow Strike (FAS) build centers around spamming a single skill by minimizing After Cast Delay/Global Cooldown/After Skill Delay, Variable Cast Time, and Fixed Cast Time. Additionally, it necessitates high Attack Speed (ASPD) to enhance your character’s animation speed.
The Golden Rule:
Reduce Variable Cast Time (VCT) through stat allocation, aiming for a total of
(DEX × 2 + INT) = 530 or a value close to it.
Decrease Fixed Cast Time (FCT) through gear choices. For instance, consider using items such as the Sniper Stone (Middle), Casting Stone (Garment), and Temporal Dex Boots with 120 Dex, which collectively can reduce FCT by -0.5.
Reducing animation time through Attack Speed (ASPD) and decreasing After Cast Delay (ACD) via gears are interconnected aspects of character optimization.
