How to join
Hurirong has returned to several villages and cities, including Prontera, Payon, and Morocc!
To begin, approach any Lude NPC and trigger their dialogue by selecting ‘continue.’
You’ll then be teleported to Niflheim, where your next task is to locate Jakk. A navigation path will be generated.
When you arrive at the designated area, speak to the Jakk located on the far left of the circle. Another navigation path will appear for you to follow.
Speak to Hururong and you will learn that Jakk is once again in the land of the living.
The friendly Lude will then ask you to complete the following tasks:
- Gather 20 Dry White Stems and 10 Pumpkin Decorations. These items are dropped by Jakks and Garling found in dungeons and fields.
- Hunt 10 Jakks.
Once you’ve finished, return to Hororong, who is standing next to Hurirong, to claim your rewards:
- 30 Cookie Bats
- 1 Halloween Coin
Completing this will unlock the daily quests.
Jakk and Jakk’s Cat
Speak to Jakk, and you will be tasked to find a cat. Jakk will advise you to speak to Harorong.
Speak to Harorong to generate the navigation path. Simply go to the coordinates to find a clue.
At /navi niflheim 43/147 you will find Nible. Speak to her, and another navigation path will be generated leading you to /navi nif_fild02 366/247.
At the designated area, you will find Shivering Jakk. Speak to it, then return to Jakk in Niflheim.
Jakk will ask you to go to a random town to find a person who can help you locate the cat. Below are the 2 NPCs you need to find, located in Umbala and Morocc.
Tip: Find the related quest in your quest logs and click on the highlighted map name in the text. This will generate a navigation path.
After speaking to the man in Morocc, you learn that the cat was last seen in Alberta.
Tip: You can buy the Delicious Fish in Alberta before proceeding to the Wind from the Black Hill Quest.
Find and speak to Shivering Kitty-pawed M in Alberta.
When you arrive at the designated area, speak to the White Cat and then examine the Sand Pile behind it. You’ll discover that the cat has died and receive a Small Pile of Bones to bring back to Jakk.
Return to Niflheim and speak with Jakk to complete the task. You will receive the following rewards:
- 1 Red Bell Necklace
- 1 Halloween Coin
- Scattleton Egg
Wind from the Black Hill
After completing the Jakk and Jakk’s Cat quest, speak to Jakk once more. A navigation path will be generated for you to follow.
When you arrive, speak to the Teacher Scatleton, then return to Jakk to proceed with the quest.
Jakk will ask you to collect 5 Black Furs, which can be obtained from monsters in the area. Once you’ve gathered the required items, return to the Bone Grave of Scatleton.
After that, speak to Jakk again, followed by Teacher Scatleton. Teacher Scatleton will send you back to Jakk. Then, go back to the Bone Grave of Scatleton in Niflheim Field 2.
A Scatleton will appear and ask for a favor—this time, it needs food. Gather 10 Delicious Fish or buy them from NPCs at:
- Alberta
- Comodo
- Amatsu
After speaking to Heorirong, you’ll be directed to talk to the Jakk standing to its right. Next, you’ll need to speak to another Jakk sitting in front of Niflheim’s left portal at /navi niflheim 25/154.
Proceed by speaking to Jakk at /navi niflheim 181/191, then talk to A Little Weird Jakk at /navi niflheim 158/132. Speak to A Little Weird Jakk again to receive an Acorn Jelly.
Your next stop is /navi niflheim 223/266 to meet Strange Jakk.
Strange Jakk will ask you to eliminate 20 Garlings, which can be found in dungeons and fields. Once completed, return to Strange Jakk, who will then ask you to go back to Heorirong.
Heorirong will also ask you to eliminate 20 Garlings. Upon completing this task, Heorirong will reward you with 1 Halloween Coin.
Jakk the Giant Pumpkin 2
Speak to Hurarong at /navi niflheim 193/235. He will ask you to eliminate 10 Elder Willows.
After completing this task, return to Hurarong, and he will grant you access to warp to a special instance/memorial dungeon.
To enter the dungeon, you’ll need to pay 1 Halloween Coin. After making the payment, speak to the Festival Guide.
Select ‘Open the gate’ and wait for the instance to be created. Once it’s ready, talk to the Festival Guide again and choose ‘Get in’ to enter the dungeon.
Once inside, talk to Guide D.
Navigate through the invisible path by following the Ludes and Spirits you encounter. Keep an eye out for portals, which can also be found in certain areas to help guide your way.
You’ll eventually arrive at an area where Guide D is surrounded by numerous Ludes. Speak to him to spawn a Giant Jakk. Defeat the Jakk to complete the instance.
After defeating the Jakk, talk to Guide D again to exit the instance. Once you’re outside, walk a short distance to find Hurarong and claim your reward.
Halloween Coin Exchange
The Reward Guide can exchange your Halloween Coins for some exciting goodies.
To get the Costume Dullahan Mask, you’ll need 13 Halloween Coins.
To exchange for the Event Box, you’ll need 5 Halloween Coins.
