Illusion Shield Enchanting Overview

Illusion Shield Enchanting is a feature that allows you to insert modules obtained from Episode 17.1: Illusion to your Illusion Shield A or Illusion Shield B, if their refine level is +9 or above.
You can insert up to three modules, similar to how enchantments work for other Illusion armor pieces. The maximum number of modules that can be inserted depends on the shield’s refine level.


How to Access the Enchanting NPC

The enchantment NPC, Eliumina, is located inside the Item Mall.

  1. Speak to the Cash Item Guide at

How to Enchant Illusion Shield A & Illusion Shield B

Illusion Shield A [1]
A combat shield created by collecting the essence of Illusion technology.

Max HP +10%, Max SP +10%.
For every 3 refine level,DEF +50, MDEF +5.

If base level is 170 or above, resistance against Neutral property attacks +5%.

A combat shield created by collecting the essence of Illusion technology.
Indestructible.

Max HP +10% , Max SP +10%.
For every 3 refine level,ATK +15, MATK +15.

If base level is 170 or above, resistance against Neutral property attacks +5%.

Weight : 40
Required Level : 100
Jobs : All Jobs

Players need to prepare the equipment and materials for enchanting as follows:

  • Illusion Shield A or B must be equipped.
  • Enchanting requires the refine level of Illusion Shield as follows to be able to enchant:
    1. Slot [4] refine level from +9 or above
    2. Slot [3] refine level from +11 or above
    3. Slot [2] refine level from +12 or above
  • Required Modification Module (Only in the specified list below)
  • Blacksmith Blessing 1~5 ea according to the conditions.

Enchanting the Illusion Shield

To begin enchanting, speak with Eliumina and select “Enchant Illusion Shield” from the menu.

Enchantment Process:

  • Enchantments must be applied in order, starting from Slot 4, then Slot 3, and finally Slot 2.
  • There is no restriction on the type of enchant selected for each slot, as long as you meet the requirements.
  • You may choose the specific enchantment you want to apply, provided you possess the corresponding enchant modules.

Requirements:

  • The Illusion Shield must meet any refine level conditions specified for the selected enchantments.
  • All required materials and modules must be in your inventory before proceeding.

Once all conditions are met, the enchantment can be applied immediately.
