Soul Reaper Job Change Quest Guide

Introduction

Welcome to the Soul Reaper job change quest guide. Soul Reapers are the next class advancement for the Soul Linker job. Gaining more knowledge on controlling souls’ energies, they are able to provide both offensive and supportive spells in the battlefield. Once Soul Linkers have reached Level 99/50, they become eligible to proceed with their class advancement in Payon.

1. Move to pay_fild08 (one map East of Payon). Look for and speak to Banyak at /navi pay_fild08 51/82.

2. Make your way to Payon and talk to Banyak at /navi payon 192/90. Select the “Stay” option, and talk to him repeatedly until he finally leaves.

3. A Girl NPC will appear after talking to Banyak. Speak to her, and she will transform into a cat (Yaong). She then asks you to follow her to pay_fild08 (navigation arrows will appear).

4. Make your way to /navi pay_fild08 57/126 and you will find Yaong the cat staring at a Bag hidden in some bushes. Retrieve it, and return to Banyak in Payon.

5. Speak to Banyak again at /navi payon 192/90. There will be some dialogue between him, the Girl and a tavern worker.

6. A new navigation path will appear after the conversation. Follow the arrows and meet up with Banyak at /navi payon 243/294. He will ask you to help in the Soul-Calling Ritual.

7. Gather 44x Fox Tails, head to the center of Payon Cave 5F and hand them to Yaong in front of the Buddha Statue at /navi pay_dun04 120/116. Afterwards, select the “Take them and get me out of here” option in order to be warped out of the dungeon.

8. Make your way back to Banyak at /navi payon 242/282. Speak to him again in order to continue the Soul-Calling Ritual (instance). Soul Linkers doing this part of the Job Change quest are required to create a solo party in order to proceed. Select the “Create Soul Gate” option to generate the queue, and then the “Start Soul-calling Ritual” once it has been fully generated.

9. To complete the soul-calling ritual, you must defeat four waves of monsters that will attempt to attack you. Be sure to have proper gear, consumables and other items in order to defeat them. The list of monsters may be viewed below.
