Introduction

Sorcerers in Ragnarok Online are powerful magic users who call on elemental spirits to enhance their abilities. They can cast strong spells for both attack and defense, making them valuable in battles against monsters and other players. With abilities to support allies, control crowds, and deal heavy damage, Sorcerers are important to any competitive parties.

This Sorcerer job change quest guide will help you become a Sorcerer. It covers everything from the job change requirements and quest steps to using reagents and working with spirits, so you can smoothly advance from Scholar to Sorcerer.

Requirements

To start the Sorcerer Job Change Quest, make sure you meet these requirements:

Your Sage’s base level is 99.
Your Sage’s job level is 70.
All job level skill points are used.
Multiple elemental stones (Red Blood, Wind of Verdure, Crystal Blue, and Green Live)

If you meet all these requirements, you can proceed with the Sorcerer Job Change Quest.

Job Change

1. Head to Geffen Tower and find Merito on the top floor. /navi gef_tower 102/34

2. Speak to Merito. You can select any of the answers except the last option

3. Tell him you can handle magic skillfully. Then, for the second question, answer “They can deal with the spirits.”. Then tell him you will take the test.

4. After you talk to Merito, go to Karacas on the 1st floor. /navi gef_tower 113/161

5. Talk to Karacas and he will ask you to bring the following items:

3 Wind of Verdure
3 Crystal Blue
3 Red Blood
3 Green Live

6. Bring the required items to Karacas, and he will reveal the locations where you can communicate with the spirits.

7. Karacas will instruct you to collect three reagents from the locations he revealed: Red, Clear, and Black. Ensure you gather at least 60+ of each corresponding elemental stone mentioned in step 7.

You can speak to the same sign multiple times. Once you have obtained two different reagents, proceed to another sign located on a different map as instructed.

TIP: Use a World Ticket to quickly warp to these maps.

Reagent Locations

Ice Cave /navi ice_dun01 274/274
In the northeast corner of the map, use 3 Crystal Blue for each attempt. During each attempt you may either obtain a Clear Reagent or aBlack Reagent.

Mjolnir Dead Pit 3 /navi mjo_dun03 201/141
In the center part of the northeast island of the map, use 3 Green Live for each attempt. During each attempt you may either obtain a Clear Reagent or Red Reagent

Kunlun Dungeon 2 (gon_dun02 195/190)
Southwest part of the Northeast Island of the map, use 3 Green Live for each attempt. During each attempt you may either obtain aBlack Reagent or Red Reagent

Thor Volcano 1 /navi thor_v01 64/252
Northwest part of the Map 3 Green Live for each attempt. During each attempt you may either obtain a Clear Reagent or Red Reagent

Note: You just need 1 Clear Reagent, 1 Red Reagent and 1 Black Reagent. If you have obtained all three reagents from the first three maps, you do not need to go to Thor Volcano. However, you can still visit Thor Volcano if you wish.

Once you get all the reagents from the locations Karacas provided, return to Karacas and talk to him. He will congratulate you and change your job to Sorcerer.
