This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to change your High Priest into the 3rd Job, Arch Bishop.
Hopefully, this job change guide will help you complete the quest with ease!
A Few Things to Remember Before Starting:
- Use all of your skill points before beginning the quest.
- Have a friend or an alt account with a damage dealer ready in case you have trouble entering the job change room.
- Don’t forget to equip your armor, garment, shield, and other gear to increase your defense, this will help you survive during the quest.
- Bring optional healing potions if your Heal skill isn’t enough to keep you alive.
- Bring 1 Holy Water.
1.) Go to Prontera Church, located in the northeast part of Prontera, and talk to the Praying Minister NPC

2.) Go to Umbala and talk to Priest Dayan👉 umbala 139/227
Type “I’m here for the Holy Pilgrimage” in the chat.
3.) Go to Yggdrasil Dungeon at 👉 yggdrasil01 219/47. A dialogue will pop up as you walk to your final destination.
Select “The Way of Meditation”, then enter any text to proceed.
Make sure you have 1 Holy Water in your inventory for this step to succeed.
4.) You will be warped back to Priest Dayan, and he will instruct you to go to Hugel and talk to the Praying Nun NPC

5.) Talk to the Boatman to go to Odin Temple 👉 hugel 209/109
6.) Go to the northeast area of Odin Temple 2.
Tips:
If you don’t have a friend or another character to help you kill the monsters, these items will help you escape safely.
You can use a World Move Ticket or Fly Wings to avoid monsters on this map.
7.) Speak to the Valkyrie and offer your help. You will receive an Ancient Language Scroll and be warped to the Job Change Map.
8.) When you’re on the Job Change Map, Use the Ancient Language Scroll to summon a Valkyrie Mercenary.
Then, go to the northwest area and defeat the Undead Valkyrie.
| Tip: You can use Magnus Exorcismus or Holy Light to kill the Undead Valkyrie more easily. Keep the mercenary alive until after defeating the first Valkyrie’s Nightmare, or you will fail the job change and have to restart. If using a Mercenary AI, set your Valkyrie to Passive or Standby to stop her from attacking first. If you die, stay in the map and wait for the timer to expire to respawn in the job change room. If you respawn after the timer runs out, dismiss your mercenary before talking to the Valkyrie NPC again. |
Pick up the Broken Horn Pipe after defeating the Undead Valkyrie. Press Ctrl + R to dismiss the summoned Valkyrie.
A Valkyrie NPC will appear at 114/328. Speak to her to receive another Ancient Language Scroll, then she will task you with finding the final piece.
9.) Do the same process, but this time go to the south area of the map.
- Summon Valkyrie by clicking the Ancient Language Scroll.
- Kill the Undead Valkyrie, then pick up the Broken Horn Pipe.
- (Optional) After defeating it, press Ctrl + R to dismiss the summoned Valkyrie.
- Finally, talk to the Valkyrie NPC
10.) Head to the top of the hill at the center of the map. Avoid the Frus that spawns nearby by running toward the Valkyrie to make it despawn. Be careful, you might disconnect if you click and walk past the Valkyrie NPC while the dialogue window appears.
Speak to the Valkyrie, and you will be promoted to Archbishop!
