Overview
Kagerou (male) and Oboro (female) are the 2nd job expansion of Ninja classes in Ragnarok Online that combine melee physical and magic attack skills. While both classes use magical charms, physical attacks, and kunai-based skills, Kagerou excels at exposing hidden enemies and debuffing opponents in PvP and WoE scenarios, whereas Oboro specializes in burst damage through skills like Distorted Crescent, which can significantly boost magic and physical attacks. Both classes are obtained after completing challenging tests at the Ninja Guild Hideout in Amatsu.

Cross Slash
The Cross Slash Kagerou build focuses on delivering powerful burst single-target damage by stacking Shadow Slashes and finishing enemies with Cross Slash. Unlike kunai spam builds or magic ninjas, this style revolves around physical STR-based scaling, making it ideal for MVP hunting or dueling where quick, decisive hits are needed.

Swirling Petal
The Swirling Petal build focuses on using Throw Huuma Shuriken → Swirling Petal, a skill that hurls a massive spinning shuriken at enemies, dealing high ranged physical damage. Unlike the Cross Slash burst style, Swirling Petal offers consistent, ranged DPS, making it one of the most popular and reliable builds for Kagerou and Oboro.

Magic Oboro
The Magic Oboro build focuses on unleashing powerful elemental spells, combining traditional Ninja magic with Oboro-exclusive skills for versatile ranged magic DPS. Unlike Kagerou’s more physical-focused builds, Oboro excels in elemental variety, high AoE damage, and flexible spellcasting, making her one of the strongest farming and PvM classes when well-geared.
