How to go to Malangdo
2024 Noodle Festival
Visit the Festival Receptionist and sign up to participate in Malangdo’s Noodle Festival.
Hear about the origin of the Noodle Festival and receive information on the location of each event!
To participate in the festival, register by speaking to the NPC, who will take your name and add you to the list. Upon registering, you will receive a 
Promotional Fan as a reward.
Once registered, you can access and enjoy all the activities the festival offers.
Note: By completing all daily quests available during the Festa, the NPC will stamp your coupon, giving you a chance to win a special costume.
The Beginning of the Festival
The Malangdo Noodle Festival starts with harvesting Pig Potatoes. Head over to Nyailo Cave, brimming with delicious noodles!
The Festival Manager will ask you to hunt one of each of the following items to jumpstart the Noodle Festa: Thin Noodle, Ribbon Noodle, Smooth Noodle, and Pig Potato.
You can obtain these items from Small Whirlpool, Dandy Star, Swing, Tale, and Nyailo found in the Nyail Cave.
To go to the Nyail Cave, simply speak to the Festival Manager.
Return to the Festival Manager once you have collected all the required items, and you will be rewarded with 1 Noodle Festival Coin, 10 Noodle Festival Coins, and 5 Promotional Fans.
Rental Equipment
The Rental Equipment NPC allows you to rent iconic items for one day. To rent these items, you can use either Zeny or 2 Noodle Festival Coins!
Prize Exchanger
The Prize Exchange NPC allows you to trade 100 Noodle Festival Coins for exclusive costumes!
You can also try your luck by using 5 Noodle Festival Coins for a Noodle Festival Souvenir!
Noodle Cooking
Noodle Master Orzo can cook an amazing noodle meal for you if you bring him the following items:
5 Thin Noodles, 5 Ribbon Noodles, 5 Smooth Noodles, and 3 Pig Potatoes.
As a reward, you’ll receive:
1 Noodle Festival Coin 5 Noodle Festival Coins 10 Tomato Noodles 10 Cream Noodles 10 Festival Noodles
No Matter Whose Cooking It Is
Nike is wondering how to get into the Nyailo Cave. He asks you to find his friend Chipol in /navi malangdo 138/140.
Chipol will then redirect you to a Fisherman found somewhere in Malangdo /navi malangdo 209/111.
Return to Nike to continue the quest. Help Nike and enter the Nyailo Cave together via the Festival Manager. Once inside the Nyailo Cave, speak to Nike who is next to you. Nike will ask you to gather the following items:
- Fish Tail (dropped by Phen)
- Squid Ink (dropped by Marse)
- Smooth Noodle
- Pigtato
Note that it may take a while to get the Fish Tail and Squid Ink if you’re hunting with a high-level character due to the drop rate penalty.
Return to Nike in Malangdo once you have acquired all the items. Nike will then ask you to deliver the freshly cooked noodles to Po, who can be found at /navi malangdo 199/150. After delivering the noodles, head back to Nike to claim your rewards.

Rogue Noodle Hunting
Helper Domi will ask you to eliminate 10 Rogue Noodles and obtain 10 Tough Noodle Leathers dropped by them. You can find Rogue Noodles inside the Nyailo Cave.
Return to Domi, and he will reward you with:
- 1 Festival Noodle
- 10 Noodle Festival Coins
Sweet Watermelon Pudding
Helper Lami will ask you to bring 10 Promotional Fans and 1 Noodle Festival Coin. Watermelons can be found at /navi malangdo 217/258 or inside the Nyailo Cave.
Return to Lami, and he will reward you with the following:
- 1 Ice Cream
- 5 Noodle Festival Coins
- 5 Watermelon Puddings
Note
Completing the tasks by Noodle Master Orzo, Nike, Helper Lami, and Helper Domi will unlock their daily quests.
