Overview

The part-time vending system, using Sales Cert and Purchases Cert, allows you to sell or buy items with any class by “hiring” a Sales/Purchase part-timer. The part-timer you “hire” is a copy of your character, giving you the freedom to still play your character or even go offline after setting up your shop.

You can use a maximum of one Sales Cert and one Purchases Cert at the same time in each account, i.e. You cannot use two Sales Cert at the same time in one account, even if you use two different characters.

You can obtain Sales Cert and Purchases Cert by:

There are three different grades of Certs (Beginner, General, Master), which differs in the maximum number of items you can vend. The 1-Day Cert is usable for 24 hours. You can also exchange three 1-Day Cert into their corresponding grade as 3-Day Cert <link to the section>.

General: 1,000,000 Zeny/ ea
Master: 2,000,000 Zeny/ ea

Exchange to 3 Day Cert

Talk to Ridwan to exchange three 1-Day Cert for one 3-Day Cert. The Certs must be in envelope form (no trade restrictions); opened Cert cannot be used for exchange.

How to Use the Cert

Sales Cert

Double click on Sales Cert in its envelope form (no trade restriction) in your inventory to obtain the voucher form (trade restriction applies). Double click on the voucher form to open your sales shop.

You must have the items you wish to sell in your inventory, not in your rental cart (take note for merchant class). The possible items that you can sell will appear in the pop-up box “Items available for vending”.

Drag the item to the shop, set the quantity (in ea) and price, and input a shop name. The item moves from “Items available for vending” to the shop. Click OK to proceed.

You have to pay 5% tax if your selling price is above 10 mil Zeny.  “Price” is how much the item is vended for, while “Selling Price” is how much you will receive from the sale after tax.

If you keep the tick on “Safe check for over 10,000,000 Zeny”, you will get a confirmation message when you vend an item above 10 million Zeny.

Select an empty spot to open your shop, then click OK to the pop-up message.

Your shop is now open with the help of your part-timer. Double click on your shop to see how many items are left in your shop, and the remaining time on the Cert.

To exit your shop (continue keeping your shop open), click “close”. To close your shop (not vending anymore), click “Cancel” and “OK” to the pop-up message.

Your Cert can be used up til the expiration date and time. The amount of time remaining can be checked from the shop, or from the Cert itself.

At the end of the vending period, or when you have sold all items, your part-timer will disappear.

The Zeny earned from items sold during the vending period can be claimed via Rodex.
At the end of the vending period, or when you cancel your shop, all unsold items will be returned via Rodex.

Purchases Cert

Double click on Purchases Cert in its envelope form (no trade restriction) in your inventory to obtain the voucher form (trade restriction applies). Double click on the voucher form to open your purchase shop.

You must have at least one of the items you are looking to buy in your inventory already. The possible items* that you can buy will appear in the pop-up box “Items available to buy”. The item(s) used to start the purchase shop remains in your inventory.

*Caution: Not everything can be bought using this method; from experience, some of the items in Item tab and some of the items Etc. tab of inventory is possible, equipment is not possible. You can identify the possible items when you open your shop.

Drag the item to the shop, set the quantity (in ea) and price, and input a shop name. The item moves from “Items available to buy” to the shop. The “purchase Zeny limit” is also updated at the bottom, showing how much Zeny will be taken from you when you open the shop. Click OK to proceed.

Tip: To avoid errors in opening the shop, check that you have sufficient Zeny and sufficient weight limit to cover all items to be purchased.

You have to pay 5% tax if your purchase price is above 10 mil Zeny, which is reflected in the Selling Price.

Select an empty spot to open your shop, then click OK to the pop-up message.

Your shop is now open with the help of your part-timer. The amount of “purchase Zeny limit” is deducted from your current Zeny, which is set aside to pay potential sellers.

Double click on your shop to see how many items are pending to be bought, the remaining time on the Cert and the amount of Zeny that has yet to be used.

At the end of the vending period, or the purchase quota of your shop has been fulfilled, your part-timer will disappear. Any items bought during the vending period can be claimed via Rodex.

At the end of the vending period, or when you cancel your shop, any Zeny remaining will be returned via Rodex.
