RO x Sonic Collaboration Event

Introduction

Gear up for an exciting journey with the RO x Sonic Collaboration! Follow Sonic and his pals as they visit into Rune Midgards, uncovering mysteries and battling Dr. Eggman’s evil plans. It’s a clash of heroes and villains like never before! Join the fun, get ready for an adventure packed with thrills and excitement! Plus, unlock all-new costumes inspired by your favorite Sonic characters!

Where to start

Speak to ??? inside Prontera's Library

You feel something nostalgic as a hand grabs you from the portal. Turns out, it’s Sonic the Hedgehog followed by Tails!

After the brief introduction and story, speak to Sonic once again and choose “Call Sonic”. This will start the instance/memorial dungeon.

Dr. Eggman’s Secret Base

1. You will be warped into Dr. Eggman’s secret base.

• Sonic and Tails explain their accidental teleportation and offer to help you return to your own world using Chaos Emeralds.
• Witness a brief cutscene where Sonic and Tails position themselves.

2. After the dialogue, speak to the Kidnapped Spore caged in the middle room to proceed.

3. Engage in a dialogue with Sonic and take the left portal and continue following their lead through the end portal.

• Sonic and Tails both have to enter the portal first before you can enter.

4. In the next room you will encounter Metal Sonic. You have to defeat him to advance.

5. Speak with Sonic afterward and continue through the portal above.

6. Encounter Knuckles: Meet Knuckles, who reveals his allegiance to Dr. Eggman.

• Overcome Knuckles in battle, then reconcile with him by speaking to Sonic.

7. Navigate with Sonic and Tails: Accompany Sonic and Tails through the left portal, combating brainwashed monsters along the way.

8. Reach a grassy area, free all 4 Chao in the area, and converse with Sonic to progress.

9. Enter the portal and confront Dr. Eggman. Defeat Dr. Eggman to proceed.

• After defeating Dr. Eggman, head to north-east portal and follow the path until you reach the final area.

10. Initiate the second phase of the fight by speaking to Dr. Eggman.
11. After winning the fight, claim your rewards by conversing with Dr. Eggman once more.

• You can triple your rewards if you use Sonic Badge. Sonic Badge is from the Sonic Package from Cash Shop. More details below.

12. After receiving the rewards, you will be teleported back to Prontera Library.

13. Below the room you will see the quest visual marker, walk next to reveal the NPCs.

14. Speak to Sonic to unlock everything for this collaboration.

Services

Tails

Tails allows you to reset Dr. Eggman’s Secret Base instance once a day using Sonic Badge.

Knuckles

Knuckles is in charge of item exchanges. Below are the items you can exchange with him:

Book-00S is in charge of the daily instance version of Dr. Eggman’s Secret Basement.
