Overview

ROGGH now features Episode 17.2: Legacy of the Wise One, that continues from Episode 17.1: Illusion. It revolves around Varmundt’s Mansion, getting acquainted with the robots inside, dealing with Heart Hunters intruding the area and unearthing other secrets Varmundt may have left behind. This comprehensive guide will cover the main story and side quests in the hopes to aid players into finishing them. Accomplishing these will not only reward players with EXP and Barmeal Tickets (which are used to exchange for various equipment and enchant them), but will also unlock repeatable instances and daily quests to help farm for said materials. By the end, a total of 195 Barmeal Tickets can be obtained after completing all Main and Side Quests mentioned in this guide.

Just a reminder: Clicking on the navigation codes (which start with /navi) throughout this guide will copy the command which you may then enter via in-game chat. Also keep an eye out for blue-colored text which may appear in dialogue windows in-game, as they will generate Navigation Arrows to the next part of your quest when clicked.

Main Quests

Before starting this main quest, it is advised to pre-farm the following items:

Cat on a Bullet Teleport Service

Before proceeding to the main story quest proper, it is important to note that Mage Nillem can be found inside the Cat on a Bullet base in Einbroch, and can provide teleport service for your character once you have finished Episode 17.1: Illusion’s main quest. He will provide warps to the following maps at the cost of 500z:

  • Heart Hunter War Base (que_swat)
  • Rudus Dungeon 1F (sp_rudus)
  • Cor, Special Security Area (sp_cor)
  • Varmundt Mansion Garden (ba_maison), which is unlocked after completing Part 1 of Episode 17.2 Main Quest

Part 1: Entering Varmundt’s Mansion

1. Continuing from Episode 17.1: Illusion’s MQ, proceed to the Northeast part of Special Security Area Cor, and speak to Lookie /navi sp_cor 255/285 .

2. Speak to Lookie a second time, and he will let you enter the Sewage Treatment Plant after some briefing.

3. Make your way to /navi ba_pw02 93/86 and interact with the drowning NPC in the water near your location. You find out it is Dew the Rune Knight, who has fainted from drowning and requires 1x Yggdrasil Leaf to revive him.

4. After using the leaf on him, he will ask you to follow him and meet up with his party. Head to the West part of the map and enter the portal /navi ba_pw02 9/150 to move to the Magic Power Plant

5. Once you enter the map, a dialogue will commence between Dew and his party members. This exchange cannot be interrupted by monster attacks, but they may still attack and damage you.

6. After the exchange, make your way North and speak to Alph /navi ba_pw01 87/290 . He will then bring you out of the Magic Power Plant 1 and into Varmundt’s Mansion.

7. After spawning inside a building, talk to Rashis. He tells you that he will be staying for a while, and lets you and the other NPCs proceed outside. Exit through the portal to the left afterwards.

8. Once outside, talk to Tamarin /navi ba_maison 70/146 who says his Ranger clothes were replaced after he registered to get around the mansion. He then directs you to register through Mansion Manager Alpha. Finishing the conversation will reward you 5x Barmeal Tickets.

9. Talk to Mansion Manager Alpha a little northeast from Tamarin’s location /navi ba_maison 74/151 who then registers you with a formal guest license. She then proceeds to share the list of new registered guests to the other automatic dolls of the mansion.

10. Speak to Mansion Manager Alpha again, and she mentions that there is some communication problem due to three faulty Repeaters in the area. Mid conversation, some Rebellion NPCs appear and mention that they will begin their operation on Varmundt’s Mansion soon. Mansion Manager Alpha then asks you to investigate the Repeaters, with a navigation link leading to the Open Dining Area.

At this point, the Daily Quest: “Power Plant Manager Eorpa,” Side Quests (Quiet Inside the Library, Pitaya Farm Guide, Cleaner Robot Omega, Bathhouse Monster, Flower Garden Access, Floating Garden, Tartaros Storage 2, Talk to Sweety) and Varmundt Mansion Garden Warp via Nillem in Cat on a Bullet Base will now be available.

Part 2: Repeater Repairs

1. Head towards the Open Dining Area and speak to Tasty /navi ba_maison 146/109 . You inform her about the broken Repeaters in the mansion, after which a broken robot (Broken Beta) appears and runs away. Tasty then tasks you to deal with the Broken Beta.

2. Find and eliminate a Broken Beta to obtain a Robot Communication Chip. Bring the chip back to Tasty, who will then reward the player with 5x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP. She then gives you a navigation link leading towards the Gazebo.

3. Interact with the Repeater by the Gazebo /navi ba_maison 334/143 . Worry will then appear and begin hitting it, but Radish shows up soon after to calm her down. You inform them about the broken Repeaters, and she will then provide you a navigation link to the Central Garden. The player will then be rewarded with 5x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

4. On your way towards the Central Garden, walk close towards Cagey /navi ba_maison 245/206 who stops you from proceeding. After informing him about the Repeaters being broken, he realizes that they have actually been hacked. He then rewards the player with 5x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP, as well as a navigation link leading back to Mansion Manager Alpha outside the Sewage Treatment Plant.

5. Head back to Mansion Manager Alpha /navi ba_maison 74/150 and tell her you have informed the other robots about the Repeaters. After giving your report to Mansion Manager Alpha, she tells you your companions are waiting for you at the Teahouse /navi ba_maison 100/65 . She will then reward the player with 15x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

At this point, the “Secure Spare Parts” Daily Quest will now be available.

Part 3: Incident with Mercenary Eich

1. Enter the Teahouse and speak to Philofontes /navi ba_in01 206/106 .

2. Speak to Rebellion Elder Dien /navi ba_in01 203/103 afterwards. You find out that she and Philofontes are in a heated conversation regarding the validity of some documents, regarding past incidents involving mercenaries, as opposed to the stories and experiences of the elders in the room. Lookie suggests finding information about said incidents in the Mansion, while you suggest asking the Mansion Managers, to which Lookie and the others agree.

2. Leave the Teahouse and find Janus /navi ba_maison 188/56 . When asked about records, she plays cutscenes where some mercenaries were talking about Varmundt and a man named Mr. Eich.

3. Find Adoren /navi ba_maison 249/161 and ask for information on mercenaries in the past. You find out that the mercenary Eich had a conversation with a stranger in an area inside the Mansion that the robots and other managers couldn’t hear. She will then provide a navigation link which you will head towards.

4. Make your way to /navi ba_maison 357/291 and you discover a discharged Cleaner Robot under the shade of a tree near the wall. You then find an envelope with the Rekenber Corporation symbol on it.

5. Make your way to Skippy /navi ba_maison 319/169 , and when asked for records, she discloses a past incident which involved an unidentified female dressed in grey and was found dead.

6. Find and speak to High High /navi ba_maison 232/310 and ask her if she remembers any conversations guests talked about. Asking for strange behavior reveals that a mercenary almost got kicked out for trying to go deeper inside the mansion. Asking her about the other options (‘Keep finding traces’ and ‘Government criticism’) will give cutscenes of mercenaries mentioning a fight which broke out near the mansion, and how the government isn’t taking any steps forward in the situation.

7. Head back to the Teahouse and give your report to Lookie /navi ba_in01 203/108 . You mention the corpse of the unidentified female, who was neither a mercenary nor someone from the mansion or corporation, and the Mercenaries might be behind the incident.

8. As Dien denies that possibility, you explain that there might be a traitor among the mercenaries, and then show proof of collusion to Dien: the envelope from the Rekenber Corporation with Eich Rukenberg as its receiver. Kaya Tos then steps out to contact his secretary Gray.

9. Speak to Ridsh who asks for more information about the suspicious mercenary.

10. After the previous exchange, Kaya Tos returns to the group. Talk to him, and more information about the traitor Eich is revealed. Kaya Tos then apologizes for feeling responsible for how Rekenber Corporation dealt with this incident, and steps out of the Teahouse once more to collect his thoughts.

11. Speak with Lookie who tells you to keep an eye out on Kaya Tos. He provides a navigation link to his whereabouts.

12. Exit the Teahouse and find Kaya Tos at /navi ba_maison 103/92 . An Assassin who was sent by the Rekenber Board of Directors attempts to assassinate Kaya Tos. Just then, Dien and the other Rebel elders intervene and the Assassin flees. Kaya Tos then invites you and the others back into the Teahouse. You will then be rewarded with 15x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

13.  Once inside the Teahouse, speak with Tatio. He mentions that the Rekenber Corporation will be enforcing rules to prevent this incident from occurring again.

14. Lookie will invite the player to accompany him outside. After the conversation, the player will be rewarded with 20x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

Part 4: Incident with Manager

1. Stepping outside of the Teahouse, approach and interact with Lookie ( /navi ba_maison 116/67 ) whom you find talking to a Mansion Manager. He tells you that the Heart Hunters that are intruding the mansion are damaging the Managers.

2. Eliumina soon appears and complains about a Manager who has attacked her a while back. Lookie then instructs you to retrieve 5x Broken Robot Cores from the Broken Betas, which are hidden in bushes and other areas in specific spots of the map. Do note that you can also obtain the cores from defeating the robots roaming the map, but the quest will only progress after interacting and obtaining cores from the previously mentioned spots.

3. Once five cores have been collected from the specific spots, Lookie instructs you to meet up with Elena Volkova at /navi ba_maison 303/140 . Speak to her, and she says she’s come to take Eliumina’s place to collect the cores.

4. Mid conversation, Eisen Werner is teleported in the water area North of where Elena is standing. He is then apprehended by her and willingly follows her to the Servant’s Quarters in hopes of meeting with a fellow Illusion member. The player will then be rewarded with 10x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

Part 5: Proof of Illusion Member

1. Make your way and enter the Servant’s Quarters /navi ba_maison 101/321 .

2. Once inside, speak to the Rebellion NPC standing near the entrance. He will take you to the room where Elena Volkova and the others are staying.

3. Speak to Elena Volkova /navi ba_in01 20/145 , who has been laughing at Eisen Werner and Eliumina’s exchange whether the latter is a true member of Illusion or not, because she doesn’t have an implanted chip in her.

4. Eliumina then devises a plan to create a tracker to detect chips used by Eisen Werner and the Heart Hunter Illusion members. You and Lookie are then tasked to bring her 10x Fluorescent Liquid, 10x Broken Sword and some modules (the latter will be taken care of by Lookie).

5. Bring the necessary quest items back to Eliumina, and she will craft and give you the Eliumina Radar.

6. Elena Volkova asks you to meet up with Est at the dining room of the Servant’s Quarters to plan how to track the Heart Hunter intruders down, and will reward you with 10x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

7. Find and speak to Est at /navi ba_in01 51/157 . She mentions that the intruders operate in the dark after sunset, and comes up with a plan to bait them. You are then given a hunting quest for “Sweety” whom you will need to defeat at the end of the main quest’s Garden at Dusk Instance.

Garden at Dusk Instance Proper

Requirements

1. Talk to Est to generate the Garden at Dusk Instance, and then another time to enter it.

2. Once inside, speak to Est, and then follow the road going Southeast.

3. Defeat the Heart Hunter Scouts at the end of the path, and talk to Est afterwards. She then tells you to turn on the Eliumina Radar to guide you in tracking the Heart Hunters.

4. Navigation arrows will appear after the Eliumina Radar is activated. Follow it to find more Heart Hunter Scouts.

5. Est appears afterwards with Manager Almond, whom you are then tasked to escort as she goes around the garden to repair the Repeaters, as they are the intruders’ favorite targets.

6. Interacting with Almond will make the NPC move. Escort her until she stops and asks you to take out your tracker. Another set of navigation arrows will lead you to some Heart Hunter Scouts.

7. A purple-haired Intruder stands beside one of the Repeaters of the Mansion. Interacting with him will summon two Heart Hunter Ambushers while he runs away. Speak to Almond after defeating the enemies so she can initiate the repair sequence for the Repeater, before proceeding towards the next Repeater location.

8. Mid escort, Almond will stop and ask you to take out the tracker again. Speaking to her will create another set of Navigation arrows which you will need to follow.

9. Following said arrows, you come across a cutscene where some Rebellion NPCs are fighting against Heart Hunters, who flee afterwards.

10. Continue following the arrows to find the Intruder from a while ago beside one of the Repeaters. Speak to him, and it seems like he is communicating with another person through the hacked Repeater.

11. Go back North and talk to Almond. Escort her back to the Repeater where you found the Intruder, and she will repair it. Afterwards, she will move towards the next Repeater location.

12. After escorting Almond, you meet up with Est and the other Rebellions. She says the intruder you encountered is their leader, and asks you to head West to find him as she takes care of Almond.

13. Crossing the bridge to your left, you meet another Rebellion with blue hair. Talk to him, and he mentions that the purple-haired intruder has been pushed towards the laboratory.

14. Go to coordinates 62/175 and your Eliumina Radar will trigger. Follow the navigation arrows leading towards the Airship Depot and enter the portal.

15. Once inside, walk East and approach the Intruder, who introduces himself as Sweety, before attacking the player. Defeat this weakened version of Sweety (<600k HP) in order to proceed with the next part of the main quest. Do note that, when running in a party, members must stay alive and get the kill count on Sweety, else those who have fallen incapacitated when Sweety is defeated will not get the count and need to run the main quest instance once again (those who have successfully gotten the kill count cannot repeat the main quest instance, thus unable to accompany those who failed). Sweety will cast Crimson Marker on players, and those with markers will be targeted with God’s Hammer which Sweety can spam, dealing around 30k damage per cast. Players right beside Sweety can have Safety Wall up, while those far away can use Pneuma instead.

16. After defeating Sweety, speak to Est before exiting the portal.

17. Make your way back to the Servant’s Quarters and talk to Est in the dining room /navi ba_in01 51/157 . She says that she has handed Sweety over to Mansion Manager Alpha, but is able to escape via airship. She then asks you to go back to the Airship Depot, and then takes your Eliumina Radar.

18. Return to the Airship Depot /navi ba_maison 33/222 and speak to Smart Elly /navi ba_in01 27/266 . She says that the intruders have tampered with one of the communication lines and is receiving unusual signals from outside, but Est and Lookie appear and say to keep it as is, in case some useful information about the intruders pass through here and so they could trace the intruders’ allies in other regions. The player will then be rewarded with 15x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

At this point, the “Talk to Sweety” Side Quest will be available.

Part 6: Coronation of the New King

1. Exit the Airship Depot, and speak to Crux right outside. He tells you that they have conducted a blessing ceremony in Prontera Castle, and offers to depart with him back there in time for the coronation of the new king. Choosing the “Give me a moment” option will have him wait for you at /navi ba_in01 48/146 .

2. Once warped into Prontera Castle, a cutscene unfolds where Nihil M. Heine is crowned as the new king of Rune Midgard. After the cutscene, speak to Servant Bell and choose the “To the office” option, which will generate navigation arrows leading towards King Nihil’s office.

3. End of Episode 17.2: Enter the office and talk to King Nihil M. Heine /navi prt_cas 320/267 who acknowledges you for visiting.

After speaking with King Nihil, players can either leave the area by speaking to Servant Bell and choosing the “To outside” option, or roam around the king’s private areas (which includes three other rooms plus one indoor garden area) as players will not have any other opportunity to normally go back to this part of the Prontera Castle.

Side Quests


SQ1: Quiet Inside the Library

Requirements

1. Begin by speaking to Tamarin at /navi ba_maison 71/145 . Dew gets conscious for smelling bad after falling into the sewers previously, and runs towards a nearby fountain.

2. Head to the fountain /navi ba_maison 83/111 where Dew ran to. Mansion Manager Beta appears and warns that Dew and his party will be kicked out if they incur more violations.

3. Dew’s party mentions about the Mansion’s library and are curious to go there. Head to the Library /navi ba_maison 197/104 and enter it.

4. After entering, walk forward and step onto the portal. The library has caught fire, and Maggie extinguishes the flames. The Library Manager soon appears, and relights the fire with the reason to keep guests away from the monsters that reside there. The party extinguishes the flames again before proceeding deeper into the Library.

5. Once inside, have yourself registered by Library Manager Beta /navi ba_lib 157/18 . Dew then tasks you to find the other members inside the Library and have them register in the front. Below is a table of their locations:

6. Return to the Library Manager Beta /navi ba_lib 157/19 , who will reward the player with 5x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

At this point, the “Bookworm Hunt,” “Book Arrangement” and “Scrap Metal Collecting” Daily Quests will now be available.

SQ2: Pitaya Farm Guide

1. Find and speak to Ruinan /navi ba_maison 311/206 . Keep talking to her until she mentions harvesting the tail of her Pitaya Meow.

2. Talk to Ruinan again. She mentions the proper way of harvesting Pitaya Tails, and that since it will be a difficult task, only robot guides are allowed to accompany harvesters. Feeding Boss Meow is also an important and urgent task alongside the harvesting tails.

3. Once Ruinan’s briefing has been completed, you may finally enter the farm.

At this point, the “Playing with Pitaya” Daily Quest and the “Farm Forgotten in Time” Daily Instance will now be available.

SQ3: Cleaner Robot Omega

Requirements

1. Enter the building leading towards the Sewage Treatment Plant /navi ba_maison 77/146 .

2. Talk to the Cleaner Robot Omega inside, and then offer to help it out with cleaning.

At this point, the “Sewage Treatment Plant Cleanup” and “Magic Power Plant 1 Cleanup” Daily Quests will now be available.

SQ4: Bathhouse Monster

1. Enter the building over at /navi ba_maison 197/278 and speak to Rubber /navi ba_in01 384/38 . She is blocking Lookie and the other Rebellions from entering (who are concerned as Goni previously entered the Bathhouse but has not come out yet) due to sightings of a mysterious entity. Rubber’s search party returns to report that neither the entity nor Goni are present inside.

2. After the conversation, the player is then given access to the Large Meditatio Bathhouse. Enter the Large Meditatio Bathhouse via the portal, and once inside, talk to Rubber /navi ba_bath 165/43 . You volunteer to check the Boiler Room. In the dialogue box, you can click on the blue “boiler room” text which will generate Navigation Arrows leading towards the Boiler Room.

3. Make your way to the Boiler Room and speak to Boiler /navi ba_bath 286/68 . You ask for the bath house’s boiler to be turned off, but you find out that it already has been off despite steam still coming out. The player will be rewarded with 7x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP. Click on the blue “other guests” text and it will generate Navigation Arrows outside the Boiler Room.

4. Find Lookie at /navi ba_bath 270/94 , who then asks you to go to the lake. Click on the blue “The lake” text and it will generate Navigation Arrows leading back near the entrance.

5. Make your way back to the entrance and talk to Rubber /navi ba_bath 165/43 . Lookie is surprised and asks where you are going. When you tell him he appeared to ask you to check the lake, he says that the Lookie you met previously was a fake. He then asks you to accompany him to the lounge.

6. Head to the lounge and speak to Lookie /navi ba_bath 203/58 . The other Rebellions appear and share that they have also met Lookie in other places in the bath house. He hands the player Freezing Traps that need to be set in four different locations in the bathhouse. The player will then be rewarded with 7x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP. The locations for setting down said Freezing Traps are as follows:

  • /navi ba_bath 53/55
  • /navi ba_bath 305/121
  • /navi ba_bath 22/276
  • /navi ba_bath 154/305

7. Proceed to /navi ba_bath 286/297 after setting the last trap and speak to the Abnormal Creature that appears. It then transforms into Lookie, and then into Goni, but is caught after it starts talking.

8. Speak to the Abnormal Creature again, and she will reveal herself as a mermaid named Princess and has been a patron of the bathhouse despite not appearing in Rubber’s master list. After explaining her situation and having been registered in the list, speak to Princess again and she will reward the player with 16x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

At this point, the “Hot and Cold Bath” and “Bathhouse is Under Cleaning” Daily Quests will now be available.

SQ5: Flower Garden Access

Quest Prerequisite: Entering Varmundt’s Mansion

1. Head towards the Northwest of Varmundt’s Mansion /navi ba_maison 119/319 and Flower Garden Entry Manger will appear. Talk to her, choose the “Self-verification” option to generate, and then speak to her again to enter the instance.

2. Once inside, interact with the hologram nearby and put your finger on the touch screen. In case the pattern fails, keep retrying until successful.

3. Talk to the Flower Garden Manager who mentions that they can detect their master’s mana signatures on you, has assigned you as temporary admin and wants you to assign her a name (choose from the options given). Choose the “Alright” option afterwards; you will be tasked to check and assess the different areas of the garden along with the Manager.

4. Follow the Manager and speak to her when she asks you to assess the gardening status. After discussing, she will move you to a different islet of the garden.

5. Speak to her and follow her again as she starts moving. She stops in front of another patch and shows CAROTA-88 who is the manager robot for the islet. Once it stops and asks for your input, interact with it and choose any option that comes up.

6. Follow the Manager afterwards and she will warp you to another islet. Walk towards and follow her, and she introduces you to pimp25 who takes care of the pumpkin patch of the islet. Speak to him and choose the second option to trigger a conversation. After the exchange, the Manager will warp you to another islet.

7. Speak to the Manager once again after spawning into the islet. She will ask to continue with the guidance, and choose the “You may.” option before following her around. The combat robots (Alicels) will appear but detect you as an intruder. Defeat them once they start attacking.

8. After defeating the Alicels, talk to the Flower Garden Manager. Choose the “What are those robots that attacked me?” option and mentions about Sigma. Afterwards, select both options in the dialogue choices (flower garden restricted zone, real purpose of this place). A third option (restricted zone close from here) will appear, and she will say that the restricted zone is nearby, but will breach security protocol if you attempt to browse. Choose the “Take me to the restricted zone.” choice afterwards, but she denies you access.

9. After being denied access, a message will be broadcast throughout the garden, asking the Manager to usher the player into the area.

10. Once warped into the new area, speak to the Flower Garden Manager who will then lead you to Sigma before leaving you.

11. Speak to Sigma. He transforms from Varmundt into a Red Pepper. Follow him around.

12. When he pauses, interact with him and he asks how you got to know Varmundt. Choose any option. He later on requests you to tell Kappa and Lambda (Red Peppers) that Varmundt is alive and that there’s no need to shut the laboratory down.

13. Speak to Sigma again and select every option to ask various questions to him. Follow Sigma some more, and he reveals a cutscene with Varmundt leaving the laboratory to him and the other Red Peppers. Continue interacting with Sigma whenever he pauses.

14. You will end up in a spot where Sigma stops at coordinates 86/73. Speak to him and keep asking him questions. When you finally ask how Sigma was born, a message will be broadcasted, stating that Sigma has brought an outsider (you) into the Flower Garden and has leaked you some information.

15. After the message, speak to Sigma once again. You then find out that Lambda is approaching the research area of the laboratory. Sigma then hands you a code which leads to another part of the Flower Garden. The player will then be rewarded with 20x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

16. Speak to Sigma again to exit the instance.

At this point, the Flower Garden Daily Instance (Normal and Hard difficulties) will now be available.

SQ6: Floating Garden Access

1. Make your way to the Sewage Treatment Plant and talk to Renshiz /navi ba_pw02 43/267 . You witness a cutscene between Eliumina and other NPCs, before Renshiz starts seeing Eliumina as an intruder and throws her into the sewage water.

2. Eliumina starts feeling ill after falling into the sewers. Lookie then instructs you to return to the Mansion to have them prepare medicine for Eliumina.

3. Talk to Need /navi ba_maison 169/270 who then tasks you to procure Silva Papilia Leaves over at the Floating Garden for Eliumina’s medicine.

4. Make your way to /navi ba_maison 239/47 and speak with Sayhue to gain access to the garden, in order to obtain Silva Papila Leaves. When asked why, choose any of the three options that appear. She then agrees in exchange for doing tasks for her while inside the garden. Choose the “Help” option, and then the “I’ll go.” option afterwards.

5. Speak to Harad /navi ba_maison 238/44 in order to generate and then enter the instance.

6. Once inside, enter the right portal and talk to the Gardener. A battle with monsters will commence afterwards. Avoid the lilypads while eliminating the blue Papilas and Aries which spawn. After clearing the monsters, an announcement will be broadcasted to move to the next area; enter the portal to the East.

7. Talk to the Gardener again. Eliminate the Aries and Broken Gardeners which spawn in the map. Be careful as Papilas will spawn in some of the square tiles and cast Earth Strain in cross (+) patterns. Once aone, Advance through the portal in the Northeast.

8. Speak to the Gardener who talks about the Rose Garden and some plants and animals causing trouble in the area. Continue walking at a slow pace (moving under each archway and halfway through the next at a time) to summon three Verporta and defeat them.

9. Speak to the Gardener at the end of the Rose Garden. She will open a portal to the North leading to a maze of flowers. Two Papilas can be found in the maze: one in the Northwest and another in the Southwest. Defeating both will open a portal at the Northwest part of the maze.

10. Enter the portal which appears after defeating the Papilas and speak to the Gardener who will be luring the Silva Papilia for you to fight.

Papilas Cae and Ruba will also spawn, and you can either defeat them by killing them normally or lure them to the Blue or Red auras respectively.

Do note that, every 30 seconds during the fight, you will be teleported to either the North, South, West, East or Center of the area, and lose around half your HP (no HP drain when warped in the center). A Poison Field which deals consistent physical damage (similar to poison mushroom mechanic of Nightmare Jitterbug instance) will also appear on your location shortly after you are teleported.

11. After successfully defeating the Silva Papilia, speak to the Gardener to exit the instance.

12. Talk to Sayhue /navi ba_maison 239/47 once outside and hand over the Silva Papila Leaves (not an actual item in your inventory), to be turned into medicine.

At this point, the “Floating Garden” Daily Instance (Normal/Hard) and Daily Quests (Hunt Silva Papilas, Hunt Grand Papilas, Gardeners’ Whereabouts) will now be available.

13. Hand over the medicine to Eliumina /navi ba_maison 234/51 , who will then reward the player with 20x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

SQ7: Tartaros Storage 2

1. Enter the Tartaros Storage Upper Floor via /navi ba_maison 305/321 and speak to Tweet /navi ba_2whs01 150/51 . She talks about the cleaning robots rampaging inside the storage, and even suggests burning the entire place. You then ask her to call her supervisor, in which case Manager Beta appears and tells her not to. You volunteer to take care of them and will be tasked to defeat 5x Broken Cleaning Robot O.

2. Return to Tweet /navi ba_2whs01 150/51 after defeating the robots and are tasked to investigate some noise coming from the basement. The player will be rewarded with 3x Barmeal Tickets.

3. Move to the Northeast of the Tartaros Storage /navi ba_2whs01 275/290 . Interact with the Lock, but you find out that the door is locked.

4. Return to Tweet /navi ba_2whs01 150/51 to report the incident. She says that the master has handed her a key, but cannot lend it to the player. She instead mentions that three emergency keys are hidden across the storage, and gives their locations based on the hints given by her master. The player will then be rewarded with 3x Barmeal Tickets. The keys’ location are as follows:

  • /navi ba_2whs01 110/218 near the Globe (Rotating World)
  • /navi ba_2whs01 15/282 in Cold Storage (Where even breath freezes up)
  • /navi ba_2whs01 221/257 hidden inside a vent (What place that might be)

5. After finding all three emergency keys, make your way back to the stairway door /navi ba_2whs01 275/290 and head down to the basement.

6. Once in the basement (Tartaros Storage Lower Floor), investigate the source of the noise at /navi ba_2whs02 37/112 . Talk to the Head (Ghostring sprite), who later is identified as T2WH-0448, and has been waiting for Master Varmundt for all this time. It then asks you to help build its body. Collect Robot Parts which can be found in the locations below. Do note that multiple attempts need to be done in each location until the Robot Part appears in your inventory:

  • /navi ba_2whs01 32/50
  • /navi ba_2whs01 129/81
  • /navi ba_2whs01 240/124

7. After collecting the Robot Parts, make your way back to the Head. It attaches the Robot Parts to itself, and transforms into a robot which resembles Varmundt. The player will then be rewarded with 3x Barmeal Tickets.

8. Report the incident back to Tweet /navi ba_2whs01 150/51 , and you will then be rewarded with 6x Barmeal Tickets and some EXP.

At this point, the “Cleaning the Storage” Daily Quest will now be available.

SQ8: Talk to Sweety

Requirements
Required Level: 130
Quest Prerequisite: Garden at Dusk Instance (Main Quest)

Rewards
Quest Rewards: Access to Daily Quest: Collecting Cores, Access to Daily Instance: Hey, Sweety!

1. Head towards the Airship Depot and speak to Almond /navi ba_in01 28/255 .

2. Talk to Sweety afterwards. It is revealed that he is an immortal being made of an entirely human brain and robot parts, and is waiting for someone in the outside’s instructions, which Almond said will be intercepted by Elly.

At this point, the “Collecting Cores” Daily Quest and “Hey, Sweety!” Daily Instance will now be available.
