Overview
Floating Garden is one of the instances available in Episode 17.2. In this instance, you can choose which mode to challenge, and each difficulty features different monsters along with their corresponding card drops. This instance features mechanics that you need to avoid like Earth Spikes and Falling Meteors.
Instance Information
- Level Requirement: 130 for normal/ 180 for Hard
- Quest Requirement: Floating Garden (Episode 17.2 Main Quest)
- Quest Cooldown Name: Floating Garden – Pending
- Cooldown: Daily Reset at 4:00 AM
- Rewards: 4
Barmeal Ticket (Daily). Additional 4 Barmeal Ticket for Gardeners Whereabouts.
Daily Quest
Both versions of the instance and daily quest share the same cooldown.

Find and speak to the Gardener in the maze. You need to acquire a 
Gardener’s Cookie
Reward: 800,000 Base Exp, 500,000 Job Exp, 4 Barmeal Tickets
Walkthrough
1. Start and choose your difficulty from Harad /navi ba_maison 235/48
2. Once you’re inside the instance, enter the portal to the right.
3. You are now in the first area of the instance. Talk to the Gardener to start it. Monsters will then begin to spawn.
Avoid the Papilas, they will cast a meteor on their location.
Kill all monsters, then proceed to the right portal.
4. Speak to the Gardener once again to spawn monsters.
Avoid the Papilas they will cast a Heaven’s Drive around their location.
Kill all monsters, then proceed to the top-right corner portal.
5. Talk to the Gardener to begin spawning monsters in the third area.
In this section, you have to walk around to spawn the monsters. Kill all the monsters, then talk to the Gardener at the end.
Important: Important: When speaking to the Gardener at the end, a cast bar will appear. Do not move or interrupt it. If canceled, the portal won’t appear and she will loop dialogue. You’ll need to wait 5 minutes before trying again.
Enter the portal to proceed to the fourth area.
6. In this section, you will be teleported to a random spot in the maze, where you can find the Gardener for the daily quest.
You will be given a Gardener’s Cookie
Kill all the monsters and proceed to the boss area.
7. Speak to the Gardener to start the boss fight.
The Papilia boss will spawn (Silva or Grand, depending on the chosen difficulty).
Defeat the boss, then talk to the Gardener again to leave the instance.
8. Now you can turn in your daily quests to Harad.
