Character Introduction
HICCUP
Hiccup was once celebrated as the hero of Berk for bringing peace between Vikings and dragons,
spends his days exploring unknown lands with Toothless, his trusted Night Fury, and seeking out new dragons.
TOOTHLESS
Toothless is cheerful, curious, and intelligent. He is also Hiccup's best friend. He fiercely protects Hiccup,
and is always ready to risk everything to keep Hiccup safe. As the last known Night Fury, Toothless is undoubtedly one of a kind.
Main Quest
Before gaining access to this collaboration’s daily quests and starting to earn Token of the Vikings, you must complete a short questline.
Something Strange at Abyss Lake

Ever since a mysterious purple lightning struck Abyss Lake, the residents of Hugel have been avoiding the area out of fear for their safety.
At Benjamin's request, investigate the surroundings of Abyss Lake.
Note: The minimap will indicate where you need to go.
- The quest will lead you to
/navi hu_fild05 344/266
, where you'll find the Purple Lightning Strike. Simply speak to it, and it will transport you to the instanced version of the field.
- Once inside, walk west and you will find Hiccup with his companion, Toothless. Speak to Hiccup.
He'll explain how they ended up in Hugel Field and mention that he must find Astrid so they can return home.
- After speaking to Hiccup, head to
/navi httyd_01 105/112
. In this area, you'll see rocks formed in a circle with the quest notification appearing in the center. Simply walk towards the notification to make the Investigation Point appear. Simply speak to it to proceed.
- Head north to find another Investigation Point somewhere in
/navi httyd_01 173/305
.
- For the final Investigation Point, head to
/navi httyd_01 357/298
and speak to it for the last time.
- Return to Hiccup. A magical barrier is affecting the area, preventing Toothless from flying. Before setting out to find the source of the barrier, Hiccup asks you to get 1
Delicious Fish for Toothless. - Speak to Hiccup to give the Delicious Fish to Toothless. After Toothless eats, you'll be transported outside. You'll then need to head to the Prontera Library

to investigate the problem that Hiccup and Toothless are experiencing.
- Inside the Prontera Library
/navi prt_in 157/60
, speak to Tony who will tell you that your friends are not the only one experiencing this phenomenon and that he's read about it. He asks you get Tooth of Bat and Red Herb.
- Return to Tony with the items he needs. Toothless needs a clear space for him to fly. Tony will use a teleportation spell to bring you and your friends back to Abyss Lake.
- Once in Abyss Lake, simply speak to the Meeting Place to your left. Hiccup and Toothless will appear. Talk to them again. Hiccup will ask you to find minerals located within Abyss Lake. You'll then be warped to the entrance of the Abyss Lake Dungeon.
Note: this image is the last Mineral - Enter the Abyss Lake Dungeon and check your minimap. You'll see yellow dots indicating where you need to mine. There are three mining spots in total. Walk toward the event notification for the mineral to appear, then simply click on it to interact.
- After mining the final mineral, another yellow marker will appear on your minimap. Head to the location, and you’ll find Astrid along with her dragon, Deadly Nadder.
- Return to Hiccup at
/navi httyd_01 323/229
. You’ll see that Astrid is now with him. Speak to Hiccup, and he’ll explain that Astrid also needs to bring Deadly Nadder to Tony in the Prontera Library at prt_in (157, 60).
- Once inside the Library, speak to Tony. Hiccup inquires about a “better way” to fly again. After casting a spell, Tony transports all of you back to Abyss Lake.
- Speak to Hiccup. He and Astrid discuss how their dragons' ability to fly is still very limited. You, the adventurer, suggest trying a potion. This leads all of you to Geffen to create the potion.
- Speak to the Graduate Student. He’ll ask you to bring 1 Blue Herb, 1 White Herb, and 1 Green Herb.
Once you’ve collected the herbs, return to him. After using the potions on the dragons, you’ll be warped back to Abyss Lake. - Once in Abyss Lake, speak to Hiccup. He tells you they were just about to test flight. After a brief catch-up, you’ll need to return to Hugel to inform Benjamin about what really happened.
- Head back to Hugel and speak to Benjamin. You reassure him that there’s nothing to worry about and that Abyss Lake is safe to approach.
- You've heard stories about twins and two-headed dragons appearing in Prontera. Return to Silent Abyss Lake by speaking to the Purple Lightning Strike at
/navi hu_fild05 341/225
and share the news with Hiccup.
- Hiccup shares that both their dragons can now fly once again. You inform them about the twins, and the group decides to head to Prontera to find them.
- Go to
/navi prontera 146/229
, where you'll find the twins near the Tool Dealer building. Speak to the Dragon Trainer Soldier, who, after hearing your story, is more than happy to hand them over. After the dialogue, you’ll be warped to Silent Abyss Lake.
- Simply speak to Hiccup to complete the quest.
This concludes the main quest, and all daily quests are now available.
Daily Quest
All daily quests will become Available after completing the quest "Something Strange at Abyss Lake."
